About
An independent guide to Anchor Wallet.
AnchorWiki exists because information about Anchor is scattered. This site puts it in one place, and says where every fact came from.
Why this site
Greymass publishes the software on GitHub and runs a page for the browser account. Neither place explains, in one piece, what Anchor is, which version you need, which networks it covers, or why a brand-new account cannot send anything on its first day. Those are the questions people actually arrive with, so those are the questions this site answers.
We are not Greymass
AnchorWiki is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Greymass. “Anchor” is their product and their trademark. If you want the software itself, the official sources are listed in the footer of every page.
How we check things
Everything factual here comes from a primary source, and we name it.
- Version numbers, release dates and file sizes come from the release feed of the official repository.
- Descriptions of what the wallet does come from the project’s own README and from the applications themselves.
- Statements about the networks come from those chains’ own documentation.
Each page records the date it was last checked. When something changes upstream, the page changes with it.
What we do not do
We host no installers. Every download link points at the official release. We never mirror a file, because a mirrored file is a file you cannot verify.
We never ask for keys. No page on this site has a field for a private key, a seed phrase or a wallet password, and nobody working on this site will ever ask you for one. Anyone who does is not us.
We take no payment for placement. Nothing appears on this site because someone paid for it.
